Nov. 7 - A partnership between Trimble Agriculture and xFarm Technologies has been signed. Trimble, the world leader in precision agriculture technologies, will be able to offer new solutions to farmers through integration withapp xFarm , developed by the tech company xFarm Technologies, whose digital platform supports and simplifies the work of 120,000 farms spread over 1.7 million hectares in more than 100 countries around the world.
The goal of the partnership is to combine Trimble Agriculture's cutting-edge precision farming solutions with the digital farming system of xFarm, enabling farmers to get more information about their crops, save time through interconnection, and easily connect to even multi-brand farm fleets.
On the one hand, farmers using Trimble technologies will be able to make the most of the data collected with their farm machinery. In fact, all farmers using Farmer Core, Trimble's precision agriculture data management system, will be able to connect theapp xFarm to their telemetry module.
At the same time, farmers usingapp xFarm will be able to access even more data on vehicles equipped with Trimble systems. Overall, the collaboration offers greater integration between the two technologies through a native connection between Trimble displays andapp xFarm . Through this initiative, Trimble customers will be able to send and receive data between the two systems, enabling interoperability.
Initially the collaboration will focus on Spain and Italy, two countries where xFarm Technologies has a strong presence, but it will soon be extended to the entire EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) region. The official launch will take place during the EIMA International trade show, which will be held Nov. 9-13 in Bologna, Italy.
