Is the Start package really free?
Yes! We believe that farmers have the right to experience the benefits of using digital in agriculture for free. That's why we offer more than 15 features for free, with no limit on field size and forever! No payment method is required at the time of registration, and the application has no advertisements.
Do the packages include sensors?
Some packages (Decision and Professional) contain the sensors xFarm needed to enable you to use the agronomic functions, while others (Start, Essential and Plus) do not include sensors. If you are interested in purchasing a single sensor, you can always request to be contacted by one of our salespeople, who will propose a solution to purchase the sensors without purchasing a specific package.
Can I do a monthly subscription?
Agriculture is a sector with strong seasonality, so we know that some functions will be used only in certain parts of the year. For some modules, however, it is necessary for the system to calculate and update throughout the year, for example, to calculate seasonal trends. This is why the subscriptions of xFarm are all on a yearly basis.
Can I buy a lifetime license?
No, xFarm is only available with annual subscriptions. This is because it is a platform that grows and improves over time, so you will always receive all updates included in the price. For example, over time, by always paying the same amount, you may get new features, new supported crops, and connections to new databases. However, if you want to get it off your mind, you can request our sales people to purchase multiple years in advance in one order.
Are installation and accessories included in the packages with the sensors?
xFarm sensors are extremely easy to install and come with clear guides and tutorials, so you can install them yourself. Packages with sensors always include the necessary mounting accessories (poles, supports, covers) and national shipping costs. However, a paid service is available to request installation by one of our technicians. You can request this by contacting one of our sales people.
What payment methods are accepted?
If you purchase a form or package online xFarm, you can pay with Credit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and JCB), Google Pay and Apple Pay. If you want to pay by bank transfer, you can contact one of our sales people to make a dedicated quote and receive bank payment instructions.
xFarm Is it compatible with the national calls?
Yes, as xFarm solutions are framed as digital technologies for improving agricultural sustainability, our products and services are usually accepted in supply chain, regional, national and EU calls for proposals. To ensure that our solutions are fully compatible with the call to which you would like to apply, we recommend that you request to be contacted by one of our sales people.
Do I have to pay a subscription for each colleague who accesses my profile?
No, the price of services xFarm is per farm. At xFarm you can invite your employees for free and choose the viewing and editing permissions best suited to them. Based on these permissions they will be able to access all or part of the functions available to your farm.
Can I use xFarm on multiple farms?
Yes, you have several ways to do this:You can create a free account for each company, subscribe to packages and forms on the different accounts, and switch between companies with the different emails and passwords.You can create one free account for each farm, subscribe to the packages and modules on the different accounts, and manage the different farms in a unified way using the "Multi-Farm" module, which allows quick switching between different accounts, and the "Operations Management" module, which allows you to organize processing, fleet, and personnel on multiple farms.You can create one account and divide it into internal Farms, assigning fields and activities to the different farms, using the "Multi-Farm" module. In this case, however, some functionality will be global (for example, document export and economic management).
How many sensors should I purchase for my farm?
In the packages xFarm Decision and Professional there is one sensor per type, based on the modules included, to create a baseline. There is no real formula for calculating how many sensors are needed per hectare, but the basic principle is that sensors should be placed where there is a change in environmental conditions (valley floor, hilltop, in very sandy areas, in areas with stagnation...) in order to have control of variability.
