Oct. 27, 2022 - xFarm Technologies, a tech company aiming to digitize the agribusiness sector, is ready for the 45th edition of EIMA, to be held in Bologna, Italy, Nov. 9-13. One of the most important events in the field of agricultural mechanics in which to discover the best of technology and innovations in agriculture. In this important international panorama, xFarm Technologies presents itself to the general public inside Hall 37, stand B/37.
The goal is to present the latest product updates, announce new partnerships as well as meet with industry professionals, media, and visitors to the event with the goal of creating new synergies.
During the event, xFarm Technologies will present the latest opportunities offered by smart farming with regard to farm fleet interconnection. Indeed, with the latest updates toapp, it is possible to have even more precise and comprehensive data management of machinery and implements. In addition to sending tasks to the machinery, automatic recording of the activities performed by the equipment and predictive maintenance, the platform offers the farmer an interface with a unified view of all the main machinery regardless of brand, with the possibility therefore to see what is happening on the farm even in the case of large fleets and an optimization of the telemetry display of all the equipment.
xFarm has in fact created a single platform that allows even fleets with different brands to be managed directly fromapp. All this is to promote the interconnection of various agricultural ecosystems and solve the problem of technological fragmentation. To do this, the tech company has involved more than 50 partners, some of whom will present new solutions during EIMA.
This important event will also be an opportunity to raise awareness of the concept of sustainability among supply chain operators in attendance. Agricultural machinery is one of the most important sources of data on any farm, the interconnection of the same represents an opportunity for the entire supply chain. In fact, farms can make smart use of decision support systems (DSS) to rationalize the use of agronomic inputs, stockers, cooperatives and producer organizations (POs) have control over production trends, and agribusinesses can have a unified view of environmental indicators for all feeders. All this then allows sustainability to be communicated to the consumer in an innovative and, above all, analytical way. As a result, the interconnection of means within a broader ecosystem is not only a prerequisite for visualizing their performance and telemetry data, but also becomes an enabling factor for a much broader supply chain pathway that can benefit all actors.
Several innovations in agronomic management will also be unveiled. In fact, xFarm is the first platform to integrate smart irrigation systems for remote management of irrigation systems; in addition, the Insect Module will be presented, which, thanks to a machine learning algorithm, allows remote monitoring of insect catching trends, while also providing a forecast of their population development. With these tools, the farmer can easily know, in real time, what is the best time to intervene in the field, optimizing both irrigation and treatments accordingly.
Finally, during the exhibition there will be no shortage of moments for meeting and discussion with all the farmers and other professionals present at EIMA. In fact, the tech company is organizing the xFarm Meetups, the moments of meeting for the whole community that today counts more than 120 thousand farms.
"This edition of EIMA represents an important showcase for us. Agriculture is increasingly interconnected and data is the real glue of the digital ecosystem that is developing. To demonstrate this, we will present the projects we are working on together with our partners, share the latest technologies for sustainable agriculture that we have implemented, and organize important moments of discussion to share impactful testimonials that can accompany the agricultural sector towards efficiency and sustainability."- comments Matteo Vanotti, CEO of xFarm Technologies.
Updates and partnerships will be presented by xFarm Technologies during the event, so visitors can learn about all the latest news and benefits of Agriculture 4.0.
