Agriculture 4.0 funds: xFarm Technologies will connect brands managed by agricultural machinery dealer and distributor Agrihandler

xFarm Technologies, a Swiss tech company and pan-European leader in the digitalisation of agriculture, and Agrihandler, a dealer and distributor of agricultural machinery, have announced their partnership to connect the machines of the brands in Agrihandler's portfolio. This will make them eligible for purchase with the upcoming Polish Agriculture 4.0 funds, which will cover 80% of the price up to a maximum of PLN 200,000 of investment costs.

Toruń, Sept. 28, 2024- The new technologies for agriculture 4.0 will play a major role in the upcoming investment programme for the modernisation of the agricultural sector under Poland's National Recovery and Resilience Plan. That is why Agrihandler, a dealer and distributor of agricultural machinery in Poland, and xFarm Technologies, a Swiss tech company and pan-European leader in the digitalisation of agriculture, have teamed up to connect machinery from the brands in Agrihandler's portfolio: JCB, Agxeed, Naio, Pixel Farming. In this way, the machinery will be eligible for purchase with Agriculture 4.0 funds, which will cover 80% of the price, up to a maximum of PLN 200,000 (about € 46,500).

As part of this partnership, xFarm Technologies will equip the machines with a Ynnova connection, (with basic and advanced packages) and telematics technology, which will allow the machines to communicate directly with the xFarm FMIS (Farm Management Information System) and collect data generated during field activities. The two companies have already launched a pilot project and installed Ynnova's telemetry system on various brands of machinery available at Agrihandler.  

Digitization is crucial tto the modernisation of agriculture: digital solutions make it possible to collect and, above all, process large amounts of data from the field. This allows farmers to always have a global and up-to-date view of the situation on their farm, and to provide the various stakeholders in the supply chain with information that with information that adds value to the products, such as carbon footprint and traceability.
