The summit will feature more than 40 speakers from across Spain and Portugal, as well as Italy, Switzerland and Latin America. Organized by xFarm Technologies, a tech company specializing in the digitization of agriculture, the summit will address topics of great interest to a pillar of the Iberian economy.

As in 2023, theAgri Data Green Summit Iberia will once again be held in Madrid (and in Atocha to be precise). Entitled "Digitization, New Practices and Sustainability: Challenges and Opportunities for the Future of the Iberian Agribusiness Sector," the summit will bring together more than 40 top-level speakers from Spain and Portugal, as well as Italy, Switzerland and Latin America to share new ideas, know-how, insights and experiences, and delve into the most important issues for Iberian (and global) agribusiness.

Iberian agribusiness is at a crossroads: on the one hand, it is experiencing a period of transformation and great development (this is demonstrated, for example, by the excellent performance of Spanish agribusiness exports, the value of which exceeded 38.8 billion euros in the first half of last year alone), but on the other hand, it faces great challenges, such as climate change, generational change, strengthening supply chains, and the need to become increasingly sustainable. Not surprisingly, regenerative agriculture, advanced digitization, risk analysis, cuaderno de campo and more will be discussed.

Speakers will include researchers from leading European universities and research centers such as Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, Universidad Catolica Portuguesa, University of Lleida, University of Coimbra, University of Córdoba, Centro de Investigación en Agrigenómica (CRAG), executives from large companies (John Deere Iberia, Teyme Group, PepsiCo, Symington Family Estates, Bodega Raimat, Agromillora, Yara, dss+, etc.), association and media representatives, major professionals.

The Agri Data Green Summit Iberia is organized by xFarm Technologies, a technology company whose digital platform supports the work of 500,000 farms belonging to more than 100 supply chains on more than 8 million hectares worldwide, with the support of Bericus, a company specializing in analytics and training.

"For xFarm Technologies Iberia and the whole group, it was only right to organize this summit. We support the digitization and transformation of agribusiness, and we also do it through moments of dialogue and education like this one. The Agri Data Green Summit Iberia will bring together great experts to understand, together, where Iberian and global agribusiness is going," comments Franco Di Giano, Business manager Iberia at xFarm Technologies.

Structured into panel discussions, keynote speeches and workshops focusing on topics of great interest to those in the industry, the Agri Data Green Summit Iberia will be moderated by two female journalists specializing in agribusiness and innovation and startups, respectively: Maruxa Alfonso Laya and Valentina Saini.

The summit will be held on Feb. 26 at the Rafaelhoteles Atocha, from 10:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., by invitation only, in front of an audience of agribusiness managers, agricultural entrepreneurs, startuppers, researchers, and specialized journalists, and is part of the Agri Data Green Summits that xFarm Technologies has successfully organized in previous years, in Italy and Spain.
