On the 17th and 18th of January, xFarm Technologies will be in Kielce (Hall A Stand A6) to present its innovative solutions to make Polish agriculture even more sustainable and efficient, and to help it seize the opportunities of Agriculture 4.0.

Poland is one of the largest agricultural producers in the European Union and is a leading producer of fruit and vegetables, honey, milk and dairy products. Polish agriculture is also an important source of employment and a pillar of the country's exports, and is contributing to the food security of the entire European continent at a particularly challenging time in history.

This is why xFarm Technologies, the leading tech company in the digitalisation of the agri-food sector, which works every day with more than 300,000 farms in over a hundred different countries covering a total of three million hectares, has decided to strengthen its presence in Poland. On the one hand, the tech company, which has its headquarters in Switzerland, is setting up a team of Polish professionals who will support agricultural companies, machinery manufacturers and food companies in their digital transformation journey; on the other hand, it has decided to participate in the Targów Sadownictwa i Warzywnictwa (TSW), one of the most important events in Central and Eastern Europe for fruit and vegetable producers.

"At xFarm Technologies, we are all aware of Poland's leading role in the European agri-food industry and we are convinced that it will become even more strategic in the coming decades," said Matteo Cunial, CRO and co-founder of the company. Many of our colleagues and myself are also farmers, so we understand the complexity and importance of the work of those who cultivate the land and feed a nation. That is why our motto is"from farmers to farmers." The xFarm platform, available in Polish and 17 other languages, already supports 40,000 farmers, from the Tatra Mountains to the Baltic. By creating a highly skilled Polish team, we aim to be closer to our customers and the country's agri-food supply chains, to help them seize the great opportunities of Agriculture 4.0 and grow in key markets like those in the US and Asia, where we also operate."

2023 was a year of intense development for xFarm Technologies: the company strengthened in Italy and Spain with the expansion of local teams, established partnerships with major international players, and focused even more on the potential benefits of using Artificial Intelligence (AI) for farms. 2024 is set to be an even more decisive year, not only with the strengthening of xFarm Technologies' presence in Poland, but also with expansion in South America and Asia, as well as new hires.

Karol Czerwiak, business manager of xFarm Technologies in Poland, said, "It is a real honour for me and the whole team to have the opportunity to support the modernisation of agriculture in our country, which is already one of the leading countries in the EU, with Polish agri-food exports exceeding €47,6bn in 2022. The xFarm platform makes the best of global digital innovation available to every farm, to help make them more competitive, resilient and sustainable, for example by decreasing the use of crop protection products while increasing the protection of plants." According to Czerwiak, "TSW, in which xFarm Technologies is participating for the second time, will allow us to make xFarm’s innovative solutions better known to one of the pillars of Polish agriculture: fruit and vegetable growers."
