An event organized to generate synergy among agribusiness stakeholders and to understand how digital farming is transforming companies and supply chains in the name of sustainability and business results
The appointment is for October 11, 2022 at the Giulio Natta Innovation Center, Cascina Darsena (PV) from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
To integrate environmental sustainability with economic sustainability in a simple way: this is one of the main requirements shared by the actors in agricultural supply chains to which xFarm Technologies wants to respond to. In fact, it is precisely from these premises that Agri Data Green Summit was born, a series of events organized by the tech company itself to understand how to address, through the power of data, the great challenges of the agrifood sector.
The first meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at the Giulio Natta Innovation Center in Cascina Darsena (Pavia) . Focus of the meeting will be agrifood supply chains in relation to digital to understand how they can benefit from it for increasingly sustainable productions.
The event will involve leaders of agribusiness industries, farmers, extensionists and analysts with the aim of providing testimonials, curiosities and information and creating a moment of discussion and insight among all stakeholders in the supply chains.
"The agribusiness sector is experiencing a very complicated time. The cost of inputs, this summer's drought and increasingly stringent consumer demands require new approaches and new technologies to maintain competitiveness and increase sustainability. Hence the idea to launch the first series of physical events of xFarm Technologies - explains Giovanni Causapruno, AgriFood Business Manager. - The objective of the first edition of the Agri Data Green Summit, on this occasion focused on the digitization of supply chains, is to create a real opportunity for connection and comparison on the change taking place in agrifood supply chains in order to develop new synergies and collect impactful testimonies that can accompany the sector towards sustainability."
During the Agri Data Green Summit there will be alternating lectures and panel discussions in which professionals from different realities and with heterogeneous backgrounds will speak with the intention of generating a multifaceted and stimulating discussion. There will also be opportunities for networking and practical demonstrations in the field of technologies.
