March 26, 2025 - A partnership was launched between Krukowiak, one of Poland's leading manufacturers of agricultural machinery and equipment, with more than 300 employees, 1,500 machines produced annually and 300 employees, and xFarm Technologies, the leading Swiss tech company in Europe in the digitization of agriculture, which with its Farm Management Information System (FMIS) supports the work of more than 500,000 farms belonging to more than 100 supply chains on more than 8.3 million hectares worldwide. The goal is to increase the sustainability of the use of Krukowiak sprayers and controllers, contributing to the consolidation of precision agriculture practices in Poland, a pillar of the European agribusiness sector.
As part of the collaboration between Krukowiak and xFarm Technologies, the Swiss tech company will provide a platform on which Krukowiak sprayers will be integrated. In addition, xFarm Technologies will connect ISOBUS sprayers and ARAG controllers, the computers through which directions are given to the sprayers (e.g. on dosage, speed and product flow).
Only real and pervasive digitization can enable precision agriculture to unfold its full potential, as well as to significantly improve and improve, both economically and environmentally, the performance of agricultural machinery and equipment, particularly sprayers. In fact, the project with xFarm Technologies will make Krukowiak machines eligible for purchase with funds allocated by the Polish government for Agriculture 4.0.
